Q: Is AVAIL a staking pool service ?

No, each participation key is linked to the customer’s single, non-custodial account.
Nodely has no technical means to spend or manage customer’s funds.

Q: Does pricing depend on the amount of Algo staked ?

No, service pricing is based only on the amount of active participation keys.

Q: Can anyone stake using this service ?

No, service is designed for business entities only and is API driven. Service only provides running virtualized participation keys. Any eligibility for protocol rewards depends on the customer choice of the key registration method and non-custodial account balance.

Q: Can I run Reti pool on AVAIL?

No, Reti node manager is not compatible with AVAIL key management.

Q: Is the service under SLA ?

Yes, Nodely guarantees less than 60 seconds of unavailability monthly with proportional reimbursement of service fee.

Q: Is participation key backup safe ?

Participation keys are in fact bundle of Falcon, quantum resistant keys , each AVAILfor a narrow range of rounds.
Key backups are safe with Nodely :

  • Bundles are pruned continuously so that any stolen material do not include keys used in the past
  • Any leaked keys are invalidated with an automatic keyreg and of no further use to anyone
