x402 API discovery

Agents and x402 directories can find and use these APIs without reading this page. Every discovery route is free.

https://x402.api.nodely.io/.well-known/x402 lists the paid resources:

{
"version": 1,
"resources": [
"https://x402.api.nodely.io/v1/search",
"https://x402.api.nodely.io/v1/scrape"
]
}

https://x402.api.nodely.io/openapi.json is an OpenAPI 3.1 description of all routes, with request and response schemas and the payment headers. The live API reference renders it as an interactive page.

https://x402.api.nodely.io/llms.txt is a short plain-text summary for language models: the APIs, prices, how to pay and links to the machine-readable files.

Each 402 response describes the resource it is selling, so x402 directories (the “bazaar”) can list it:

  • a description, MIME type, service name and tags
  • an example input and output
  • a JSON Schema for the request body

This metadata is under extensions.bazaar in the PAYMENT-REQUIRED JSON. To see it, decode the header from an unpaid request:

Terminal window
curl -s -o /dev/null -D - -X POST https://x402.api.nodely.io/v1/scrape \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{"url":"https://example.org/"}' \
| awk -F': ' 'tolower($1)=="payment-required"{print $2}' | tr -d '\r' | base64 -d | jq .
